Thanksgiving is coming! Americans all over the country will sit down to a feast with family or friends in gratitude for their blessings.

This coming Sunday, November 18th, 2018, you are invited to a banquet to celebrate another form of thanksgiving – the opportunity to share a meal and give to make the world a kinder, fairer place for everyone.

The kids of the United Church of Strafford will host a Hunger Banquet, to benefit an organization called Oxfam. Oxfam has worked for decades helping poor and hungry people around the world create a better life for themselves. By coming to the Hunger Banquet and sharing a meal together (full disclosure: that meal will be unusual!), and donating what you can, you can help Oxfam to help many, many people.

Where: Parish Hall, United Church of Strafford
