Rev. Dr. Jim Antal gave this talk on “Determining Our Climate Future” as part of the United Church of Strafford, Vermont’s “Election 2024: What Is at Stake?” speaker series.  He spoke on July 24th, only three days after President Biden dropped out of the race, and before there was a certain Democratic candidate, but his message would have been the same had Vice President Harris already been the nominee.  Rev. Antal addressed the questions: Why do the impacts on climate and environment deserve our attention? What are the records on climate and environment of former President Trump and the Biden-Harris Administration? What are the climate and environment plans, policies, promises and pledges offered by former President Trump and the Biden-Harris Administration?

The Rev. Dr. Jim Antal, author of Climate Church, Climate World, serves as Special Advisor on Climate Justice to the head of the United Church of Christ. While leading the 350 UCC churches in Massachusetts, he spoke on the climate crisis in over 400 settings.
