We will have another Children’s Story Time by Zoom, this Sunday June 7th at 10:00 AM— I have taken part in the first two and now I wouldn’t miss it! Two master teachers reading aloud and discussing books that are so beautiful they fill your heart to overflowing, and the conversation is as moving as the books. Adults are invited to sit in quietly.
Bill Burden told me he always wished he could go out with the children to see and hear what they were up to, and he would have if he could also have been part of the worship service. Now we can do both!
Here is the announcement from Danette Harris and Joey Hawkins for June 7th:
This Sunday’s Story Time: Enemy Pie
This Sunday at 10:00am, children in grades 4 and under are welcome to join Joey and Danette for the reading aloud of Enemy Pie. We will start off with the Joys and Concerns of the children and then we will read the story aloud. Finally, we will discuss the story and its big idea. We hope that you can join us!
I imagine you know this by now, but Zoom accounts are free and allow you to test out the system in advance so you can be ready to sign on when the time comes. If you need instructions, they are below. If you are familiar with Zoom, here is the link you need for this gathering: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86034972073
Please join us at 10:00 AM on Sunday morning, June 7th, on line on Zoom:
Topic: Children’s Story Time
Time: 10:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada) June 7th.
Directions On How To Use Zoom
