The celebration will begin with a service of thanksgiving and remembrance in the United Church of Strafford sanctuary on the Upper Village common where Rachel served as a Deacon for many years.

The service will also be live-streamed on Zoom (see the invitation and link below).

The Revs. Deadra Ashton and Tom Kinder will co-officiate. We will have a time for sharing during the service when you may offer a story or words of appreciation for Rachel.

At the end of that service the family invites you to join them for part two of the celebration, a potluck reception at Barrett Hall in South Strafford. Dishes may be dropped off at Barrett Hall before the 10:00 AM service.

Rachel did not approve of wearing black at memorial services—she shared a preference for colorful clothes or white in keeping with her Native American ancestors.

Please note that because Covid is all around us and highly contagious we still require that masks be worn inside the church.
